Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Your Stars Know website and the astrological readings offered through it (together, the "Service"), operated from India by Anil Sharma ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, requesting a reading, or ticking the agreement box on our form, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is — and is not

The Service provides astrological readings for personal reflection, insight, and entertainment purposes only. Astrology is a traditional interpretive practice, not a science, and nothing in any reading is a statement of fact about your past, present, or future.

Readings are not — and must never be treated as — medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment, or any other form of professional advice. You must not make decisions about your health, money, relationships, employment, legal matters, or any other significant matter in reliance on a reading. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.

2. No guarantees of any kind

We make no promises, warranties, or guarantees whatsoever about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or usefulness of any reading, or about any outcome in your life. Any resonance between a reading and your lived experience is for you alone to judge. The Service is provided strictly "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By requesting a reading you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the details you submit (name, email, birth information). A reading prepared from inaccurate details is still deemed delivered.
• One free past reading per person, per email address. Duplicate, automated, or fraudulent requests may be refused or removed from the waitlist without notice.
• You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Waitlist, timing, and delivery

Readings are prepared personally and by hand. Waiting times are estimates only, not commitments. We may pause, delay, limit, or discontinue the waitlist or the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, at our sole discretion and without liability to you.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind — including loss of profits, opportunity, data, goodwill, or emotional distress — arising out of or in connection with the Service or any reading, however caused and under any theory of liability.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Where the Service was provided free of charge, that amount is zero.
• You expressly acknowledge that any action you take, or refrain from taking, on the basis of a reading is entirely your own decision and at your own risk.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your reliance on any reading.

8. Data and security

Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. As set out there, we are a small operation: we take reasonable, proportionate measures to protect your information, but we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim liability for unauthorized access to or disclosure of your information resulting from events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Service — including readings, text, and design — is our property. Your reading is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share it privately; you may not republish or commercially exploit it without our written consent. We may quote from readings publicly only with the recipient's permission.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
