Vedic Astrology Reading — Personal, by Hand, for One Year of Your Life
A Vedic astrology reading is an interpretation of your birth chart — the positions of the Sun, Moon, and planets at the exact moment and place you were born — through the lens of Jyotisha, India's traditional system of astrology. A reading examines the planetary periods and movements that shape different chapters of a life, and offers reflection on their patterns.
What makes this reading different
Most of what you'll find online is instant and automated: calculators, AI-generated horoscopes, and portals selling minutes with whoever is available. This is the opposite. At Your Stars Know, one astrologer — Anil Sharma — prepares every reading himself. He takes on only two to three charts a day, reads one year of your life that you choose, and writes what he finds in plain language. No AI writes any part of your reading.
For fifteen years his practice grew face to face, by word of mouth alone. This website is the first time his readings are available online.
What Anil needs from you
- Date of birth
- Time of birth — if known (see below if you don't know it)
- Place of birth — city and country
- One year — any year of your life, past or future
That's all. The first reading is free, and no payment details are ever requested for it.
What a reading can explore
Working from your chart, a reading of your chosen year can reflect on the timing of pressures and openings, recurring patterns, the areas of life the year leaned on most — work, relationships, home, inner life — and how supportive or demanding its different stretches were. If you share a question about that year, the reading will speak to it directly.
What it cannot promise
Honesty first: no astrologer can guarantee outcomes, and you should be wary of any who claims to. A reading here will never promise a job, a marriage date, a recovery, a verdict, or a windfall — and it is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Astrology, practiced honestly, offers perspective and reflection: a way of seeing a year's shape. What you do with that perspective remains entirely yours.
Why birth time matters (and what if you don't know yours)
Your birth time fixes the ascendant — the sign rising on the horizon when you were born — which anchors the houses of your chart. An exact time makes the reading more precise. If you don't know it, share an approximate window ("early morning", "around noon"): a meaningful reading can still be prepared, and where precision is limited, the reading will simply say so rather than pretend.
A way to judge for yourself: read a year you've already lived
Anyone can make claims about your future — you'd have no way to test them until it's too late to matter. So many people begin here differently: they ask Anil to read a past year. You lived that year. You know what happened. If his reading of it speaks true, you'll know exactly how much weight to give his words about the years ahead.
— Anil Sharma
His method and experience
Anil has practiced Jyotisha for over fifteen years, entirely in person and entirely by word of mouth — he has never advertised. Each reading is prepared from the chart by hand, over hours, not minutes. That is why readings arrive within about seven days rather than instantly, and why only a limited number of free readings are open at a time.
Common questions
Is it really free? What's the catch?
Truly free — no payment details are ever asked for the first reading. This is how Anil introduces his work online. If your reading rings true, paid consultations will be offered later; that choice is entirely yours.
Should I choose a past year or a future one?
Either. Many begin with a lived year so they can judge the reading against what actually happened; others go straight to the year ahead. Both are read the same way — from your chart, without promised outcomes.
Is any of the reading written by AI?
No. Every reading is prepared by Anil himself — 2–3 charts a day, so each gets full attention. That's why there's a wait, and why it's worth it.
Is my birth information private?
Yes. Your details are used only to prepare your reading — never shared or sold — and you can ask for them to be deleted at any time. See the privacy policy.
How long does it take to arrive?
Most readings arrive by email within about seven days, prepared in the order requests arrive.
What if I don't know my birth time?
Share what you know — even a rough window helps. The reading can still be prepared; finer details simply carry less precision, and it will say so honestly.
